Wow. Lots has happened since I last moved. I'll type a general summary in this paragraph, then go into detail in some spots in the rest of the post. So, starting with the week before the move. Had the pool party (I can't believe I couldn't find the digital camera in time : ( . I'll have to come back just to get pictures of y'all.) . Stayed at the YMCA residence Inn for a night. Lost my cat (he ran away through a small window no one noticed was opened the only night we planned on leaving him in the house alone). Drove to Alabama (Boring. Played some ToS, though.). Lived in a Marriott Residence Inn for a week or so (also boring). School started (evil incarnate, more later). Moved into the nice home (I have a big room ^_^). And that's where I am now.

So, I'll start off the detail with the leaving El Paso. First was the pool party, which was far too short. The next night the cat went missing, which was very bad. We searched for him the next few days, delaying our departure a day. After that it was driving for two days, with nothing too interesting happening.

About the school. I thought that my previous school was ok, but it definitely took some getting used to. However, my old school was like a tree filled meadow haven Utopia (I'm too tired to care how many rules of grammar I'm breaking with this sentence) with the makings of a LAN Party off to the side compared to this place. Here, the lunch is in shifts, and you may not go to the library during lunch, you may not eat outside during lunch, and the lunch lines themselves are monstrous. The bell schedule is unreasonable (the principal said he walked it, but did he do it during full hall traffic from one side of the building to a locker to the other side of the building wearing a heavy backpack?), and there are over 32 security cameras. Also, any student on school grounds in the morning must report to the school cafeteria, where they will be held until 7:40. There is little to no school spirit.

And yet I got myself involved in it. Succumbing to my parents demands that I join an extracurricular activity, I signed myself up as a candidate for the Sophomore Class President. However, now they (my parents) actually expect me to campaign. I did not sign up to win, merely to placate them. I suppose it should be interesting anyway.

The Olympics are, of course, amazingly nifty, so in my free time I've been trying to watch as much as I can. Especially gymnastics. So, having become inspired by them, I plan to start taking gymnastics lessons, train every moment of my spare time, and be ready for the 2008 Olympics. No, in reality, I will start taking gymnastics lessons again, and this time I won't stop. Who knows, maybe I'll even become dedicated.

That's about it for this post. I have one more thing to do before I shut down for the night. I challenge you (anyone reading) to write about yourself, what you think about life, the world, other people, how you feel, everything for as many lines and pages as you can. Then, send it to me. Only kidding about the sending it to me, although that would be nice, so if you aren't embarrassed/worried/whatever about what you wrote, please send it to me. ^_^
