Ok, review of last post. Fourth paragraph: Yeah, I'm still most comfortable around people when I'm half asleep. Go figure. Fifth paragraph: See next paragraph. I guess that's it for that. Next topic!
So I didn't post on Saturday. At least it hasn't been a week since the last one (yet), right? I'm gonna try to post as much as I can, but I will guarantee that I will post at least once a week.
This blog will probably move in a couple months. Yes, I do plan that far ahead (occassionally). I plan to start a site that will focus on one of my other hobbies, and I may be moving this to it then. More on that later, when I have more of an idea of what I'm doing. Suffice to say this is important enough that I'm actually gonna pay for hosting and such. I'm gonna have my own domain name! ^_^
While I'm on the subject of cash, I might as well mention a couple of goals that I'm saving towards. Hosting (good hosting) for my new site is one of them. Another is a unicycle. They are surprisingly expensive, but also surprisingly cool. My final (major) goal is Comic-Con.
Comic-Con, for those who are curious, is a large convention in San Diego. It occurs in mid-summer, so I'd be out of school by then. Unfortunately, I am a minor, so I probably wouldn't be able to reserve a hotel room in San Diego, and I doubt I'd be able to pay for plane fare either. Comic-Con is about the biggest web and print comic convention I know of. As a result, most of the really big names in webcomics are there. Could be an excellent opportunity to get some content for my new site! Anyone who has any ideas on getting to Comic-Con (where to stay, etc.) contact me.
I need social skills. I s'pose I'm OK at messaging people, but that's as close as I get to communication (except with my other gamer and/or geek friends). I guess I just need to learn how to be more comfortable with people. I should probably try talking more IRL, but I don't have much to talk about. If anyone "out there" in the real world actually reads this, drop me a line. My AIM is hergenjohn. And if by some chance you actually see me walking around, come say Hi. I'm not geeky or boring. Except on days that end with y.
I'm probably gonna post more later tonight, but just in case I don't, farewell to all of my gentle readers.
